Introduce all vocabular for chapter 4. Predict vocabulary word definitions. Define vocabulary words in small groups.

Tuesday
Finish reading chapter 4 aloud
Review vocabulary for chapter 4. Play a vocabulary matching game. Divide the class into groups of 2-5 students. Hand out cards with each vocabulary word and each definition. Have them parit the words with their definitions.
Discuss the rest of chapter 4.
Wednesday
Begin reading chapter 5 aloud, ending with "Visibility was limited to the nicely definite bodies of.."
Introduce all vocabulary for chapter 5. Have students write the vocabulary words and their meanings on flash cards. Then have them quiz each other.
Discuss the section of chpater 5 that was read.
Do the dimensions activity (Lesson Plan)

Read aloud the end of chapter 5.
Review vocabulary for chapter 5. Play one of the vocabulary games mentioned previously
Discuss the rest of chapter 5.

Give quiz over the reading for chapters 4-5.
Review the vocabulary for chapter 4 & 5 by handing out the word search puzzle.
Discuss chapters 4 & 5 in terms of which character the students identify with the most
